40ft High Cube Full Side Access Shipping Container – 9ft 6in High

The 40ft High Cube Full Side Access Shipping Container combines increased internal height with extensive side access, providing a flexible storage and cargo-handling solution for commercial, industrial, construction and logistics applications.

At approximately 40ft long × 8ft wide × 9ft 6in high, the High Cube design provides an additional foot of exterior height compared with a standard-height shipping container. This additional clearance makes the container suitable for taller equipment, stacked inventory, machinery and other bulky items.

The primary feature is the full-length side access system. The side opening spans approximately 38ft 9in (11.84m) and has no central post in the referenced configuration, allowing access to almost the entire length of the container. This can simplify loading and unloading of long, oversized or palletized goods that may be difficult to handle exclusively through conventional end doors.

In addition to the side-access doors, the container features double cargo doors at one 8ft end, providing two practical loading approaches. Multiple locking bars are fitted to the doors for secure closure.

The container is constructed from Corten weathering steel and incorporates a 28mm marine-plywood floor supported by steel cross members. Eight vents provide passive airflow through the container. The referenced unit is also CSC plated with a stated maximum gross weight of 24,000kg.
